Luke’s account of the Good News of Jesus Christ is the only Gospel addressed to an individual, “most excellent Theopholus” (1:3). The name Theophilus is derived from the Greek words for “God” and “love.” Luke’s Gospel is dedicated to the “lover of God:” to the person who seeks to grow closer to God.
Join Lee Memorial this Lent and Easter as we read together Luke’s account of Jesus’ life, ministry, passion, and resurrection. Join us as we seek to become lovers of God and the world God so loves and has come to save.
