healTHY Community Gardens

healTHY Community Gardens is a community supported gardening project that seeks to provide community members with access to high quality garden vegetables while supporting community organizations in Northern New London County (CT) that meet the needs of the vulnerable and hungry.

This project is a community outreach of Lee Memorial and Healing Hearts Sufi Dargah.

This year, the gardens are located on the property of Lee Memorial United Methodist Church (294 Washington St., Norwich).

    • We still have the garden, yes. We don’t charge people to get produce any more. Those who work get some of the harvest and the rest is either sold to support the garden or (most of the time) it is given away.
